Commencement Ceremony. Over the past 134 years, Stanford University has established a rich history of Commencement traditions. We look forward to celebrating with graduates, friends, family, faculty, and guests on Sunday, June 15 at 9:30 a.m. in Stanford Stadium.

To graduate, you must have filed your graduation application by the required deadline (see the academic calendar for dates). Instructions for applying to graduate , as well as a graduation checklist , can be found on the Student Services website .

Undergraduate students who began their undergraduate program in Autumn 2021 have an Expected Graduation Term of Spring 2025 and therefore do not need to apply to graduate in order to be eligible to participate in the main Commencement ceremony.
