Dec 4, 2019 · I was looking to change my hyperx alloy fps - rgb keycaps . They feel thin and they are really hollow to the point that o-rings don't work on them. I wanted a more "flat" keycaps set that does not have a noticable bump on each row. Do any of your keycap layouts seem that way? I wanted to avoid pudding since they are too rgb for my taste.

I want sturdy keycaps that handle hard work and my hands are always oily so matte keycaps are preferred. which of these should I go with?

Nov 4, 2021 · Go with an apex pro over an apex 7, or a HyperX Alloy Origins for better build quality. As for the keycaps, prismcaps and pudding keycaps are very similar, its just from different brands, and they allow tons of rgb/led light to shine through the keyboard. Razer PBT caps, I have not used, however will most likely be worse than prism/pudding keycaps.

Mar 19, 2022 · SteelSeries Prismcaps, HyperX Puddings, and Glorious Aura Keycaps V2 are all basically the same set of keycaps with different fonts. They are all double-shot PBT and come with almost every key that a standard keyboard would need. Personally, I really like the simple font of the HyperX keycaps that is clear and easy to read.

May 21, 2023 · the hyper x pudding caps are the same layout as the vulkan pro, the 120 has a weird smaller shift cap on the left and the enter cap is different too unlike the vulkan pro, i just ordered some hyperx puddings for my vulkan pro, as far as i know only the space bar middle stem needs to be slightly filed down so that the stabilisers can fit on the sides of the space bar cap.
