Wisconsin finished 1-1 on its California road trip. Following a win at USC, the Badgers fell to UCLA 85-83 on Tuesday night.

Specifically, UCLA shot 14-of-20 from two-point range in the second half. A bulk of the Bruins’ paint scoring arrived from the aforementioned Mara and bench guard Sebastian Mack. The Badgers had no answer. Wisconsin shot extremely well from the outside, but UCLA’s consistence presence down low was devastating on Tuesday.

The Badgers continue their West Coast road trip against UCLA at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Pauley Pavilion. Wisconsin (15-3, 5-2 Big Ten) is coming off an 84-69 rout of Southern Cal, nearly blowing a 15-point halftime lead but reestablishing dominance to win by the same margin.
