The Atlanta Falcons have hired former New York Jets defensive coordinator and interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich as their defensive coordinator, the team announced Saturday night. The Falcons interviewed seven candidates for the job, but Ulbrich always was considered the favorite because of his relationship with Falcons head coach Raheem Morris.
Manuel began his NFL coaching career with the Seattle Seahawks under Dan Quinn in 2012. He was a defensive assistant in Seattle when the team won the Super Bowl during 2013 and served as the Seahawks assistant secondary coach in 2014.

The Atlanta Falcons have named Jeff Ulbrich as defensive coordinator, the team announced Saturday. Ulbrich arrives in Atlanta after four seasons as defensive coordinator for the New York Jets while also serving as the team’s interim head coach the final 13 weeks of the 2024 season.
Glenn played for the Jets in his first eight NFL seasons and later worked for them as a scout in the personnel department.
