The Chicago Bears will interview Eddie George in person Sunday for their head coaching position, The Tennessean reported.

The Bears are expected to interview former NFL running back and current Tennessee State University coach Eddie George in person on Sunday, ESPN reported.

The Chicago Bears promised a "thorough ... "We have completed an interview with head coach candidate Eddie George," the Bears wrote on their official X account on January 19.

Both the Bears and Eddie George gain from the interview they conducted with the Heisman winner and the search can now enter a new stage.

George, the former Titans star running back, will be the third candidate to interview in person as Chicago ramps up its search.
