The Philadelphia Eagles have one of the most unstoppable plays in football, a play that teams have tried to get banned in the past to no avail. One team will attempt to get it banned this offseason, as the Green Bay Packers reportedly are the team that proposed to the NFL competition committee to ban the "Tush Push.

The Eagles' use of the “Tush Push” has been controversial since the inception of the quarterback sneak play that helps Philadelphia in short-yardage situations. Some even want it outlawed. It was reported this week that the Packers submitted a proposal to get the Tush Push banned from the NFL.

Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni said Tuesday that a Green Bay Packers-led initiative to get the so-called “tush push” banned in the NFL is unfair and a “little insulting.”

One NFL team is proposing an end to the tush push play the Philadelphia Eagles have used so successfully at the goal line and in short-yardage situations, including during their victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 59.

That's because NFL executive of football operations Troy Vincent told the NFL Network on Monday that one unidentified team has submitted a proposal to ban the play known as the “Tush Push ," the Eagles' highly-successful short yardage play in which two players push quarterback Jalen Hurts from behind as he attempts a QB sneak.
