NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — All of Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky are under a Winter Storm Warning starting Friday. The warning for Lincoln, Moore, and Franklin Counties runs from Midnight Friday to 6 AM Saturday. The rest of Middle TN and Southern KY are under the warning from 3 AM Friday to 6 AM Saturday.

As snow fills in across Middle Tennessee, conditions will deteriorate fast. Bottom line: Be where you want to be Friday morning. Expect a range of 3-5” near the Tenn./Ky. border with slightly higher amounts as you head more into Middle Tennessee.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Various schools across Middle Tennessee are closed Friday as heavy snowfall is expected to arrive. The closures come as FOX 17 News is in a Code Red Weather alert as up to six inches of snow are possible on Friday.

The National Weather Service has issued winter weather advisories on Sunday morning for northern counties in Middle Tennessee and all of Southern Kentucky.
