Famous faces have gathered as musician Linda Nolan is laid to rest today (February 1) at St Paul's Church in Blackpool before moving to a crematorium chapel.

Linda Nolan, who died last month surrounded by her loving family, was described as a "fun and bubbly person" as her celeb pals came out in their droves to pay their respects

Members of the public applauded as the hearse carrying Linda's pink glittery coffin arrived at the church. Linda's sisters Anne, Maureen, Coleen and Denise, who formed the band The Nolans together with their late sister Bernie, headed inside the church with other members of the family.

The service included Linda's own recording of 'When It's Over', while attendees included comedian Tommy Cannon, singer Lisa Maffia, Charlotte Dawson (daughter of comedian Les Dawson), Lee Brennan from 911, Coronation Street actress Jodie Prenger.

Linda, Denise, Coleen and their sisters Bernie, Maureen and Anne formed the pop group The Nolans, recording hits like Gotta Pull Myself Together and I’m In The Mood For Dancing in the late 70s and early 80s.
